Join Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman and local celebrities as the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) hosts the Mayor's Martini Mile held on festive Fremont Street, Friday, October 9, at 5:30 p.m., to kick off RTC Viva Bike Vegas 2009 Presented by Vector Media benefitting the Nevada Cancer Institute and Greater Las Vegas After-School All-Stars. Attendees of the Mayor's Martini Mile can sip their own martinis, which will be for sale at the event, while watching "The World's Happiest Mayor" as he competes in an obstacle course against Las Vegas entertainers.

Join other riders and enjoy live entertainment and a delicious pre-ride Pasta Party “Carb Load” session, benefitting the Greater Las Vegas After-School All-Stars, at the Golden Nugget in the Fremont Street Experience while watching the Mayor's Martini Mile. Serving for this tasty pasta dinner event begins at 5:30 p.m. and concludes at 8 p.m. A delicious menu of pasta, breads, sauces, drinks, and desserts are available to all Pasta Party participants for just $10 per person online or $12 per person at the door.
