Fabulous Las Vegas is calling all cycling enthusiasts to join the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) as we host RTC Viva Bike Vegas 2010 Presented by Vector Media on Saturday, October 9, 2010. Whether you’re a beginning biker, a seasoned pro, or just want to enjoy the atmosphere of an exciting community event, this ride is for you.
Be the first to ride over the nearly complete Hoover Dam Bridge! Proceeds from this ride will benefit two local charities, Greater Las Vegas After-School All-Stars and Nevada Cancer. Don't forget to view the 2010 route map and information page.

* Hoover Dam Bypass access will be enforced by security officers and restricted to cyclists with valid event credentials. *

Cyclists who plan to no longer participate after riding across the bridge must arrange to be picked up at the River Mountain Loop Trail or Historic Railroad Tunnel parking lots. (Click on links for Google Maps location) PLEASE NOTE: Vehicles trying to reach the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge will be turned away by Nevada Highway Patrol. It is recommended that cyclists inform RTC staff members during packet pickup of their decision to not complete the full course and that cyclists do not take a timing chip as there will be a $45 charge for timing chips that are not turned back in after the ride.
