NASCAR Truck Series Special Service

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is ready to truck NASCAR enthusiasts to and from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) on Saturday, Sept. 20, with a special service for the NASCAR Truck series.

Get the most enjoyment out of your trip by taking the Metropolitan Area Express (MAX) to the Speedway, and leave the driving to the RTC. Service will be provided from the Downtown Transportation Center (DTC) to the LVMS via the MAX with regular frequency.

Boarding at the DTC, riders will take the MAX to the Craig Road and Las Vegas Blvd. South MAX station (this is the last stop.) Race fans will then transfer onto a RTC special service vehicle that will be doing a “loop” service from the Craig Road and Las Vegas Blvd. MAX station to the designated drop off area at the LVMS, and back to the MAX station at Craig Road and Las Vegas Blvd., then back to the DTC.

Depending upon traffic, NASCAR fans can expect “loop” service to/from the Craig Road and Las Vegas Blvd. MAX station to the LVMS approximately every 20 minutes. The “loop” will operate on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Regular transit fares will apply and exact fare is required. To cover the round trip, race fans are encouraged to buy an all day pass for $2.50, which must be purchased at the Ticket Vending Machine at the DTC prior to boarding the MAX. If fans are transferring from the Deuce, it’s advisable to buy the $5.00 day pass to cover your round trip.
