Proposed Revisions to Uniform Standards in Committee
The following Uniform Standard Drawings and/or Specifications have been proposed for revision and are under review by subcommittees of the RTC. As part of the committee review process, proposed revisions are sent to affected interested parties for comment. The proposed revisions have also been posted to this page to solicit additional comments. Each of the standards has been highlighted with the proposed changes for your information.

Revisions to Volume I Standard Drawing Nos. 234.1, "Typical Bus Turnout"; 234.2, "Typical Bus Stop Passenger Loading and Shelter Pads"; and 234.2A, "Typical Double Bus Stop Passenger Loading and Shelter Pads" - to increase the thickness of the concrete shelter pad to 7 inches in order to support the new bus shelter for structural safety. Comments Due by 12/9/09
Revisions to Volume II Standard Drawing Nos. 404.1306 Sheets 1 and 2, "Typical Traffic Signal Underground Layout With Interim Street Lighting, Traffic Signal Cabinet And Service Pedestal (End Curve Radius) - to update Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) layout and callouts at intersections. Comments Due by 12/9/09
Addition of Volume II Standard Drawing No. 404.1307, "Typical Intersection ITS Underground Layout" - to clarify the placement of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) conduits at intersections. Comments Due by 12/9/09
Addition of Volume II Standard Drawing No. 404.1501, "Communication Distribution Cable Assembly (CDCA) In Cabinet" - to clarify the placement of cables in the cabinet. Comments Due by 12/9/09
Deletion of Volume II Standard Drawing Nos. 404.1500 Sheet 1 of 3, "Closed Circuit Television Camera"; 404.1500 Sheet 2 of 3, "Closed Circuit Television Camera Control Unit and Cable Wiring Diagram"; and 404.1500 Sheet 3 of 3, "Camera Adaptor Stand" - to replace with new modified closed circuit television camera with the 10 foot extension pole for better visibility in traffic incident monitoring and surveillance. Comments Due by 12/9/09
