The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has constructed Centennial Hills Transit Center and Park & Ride in the northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley near the US 95 and Durango Drive interchange.
The transit center and park & ride is not only mitigating the growing congestion on US 95 due to the increase in travel demands within that corridor, it also complements the introduction of the Valley’s first Commuter Service. The first C-Line, travels from the Centennial Hills Transit Center and Park & Ride into Downtown Las Vegas, with continuing service to the Las Vegas Strip and UNLV.
The C-Line features rapid transit service with limited stops and will utilize the high occupancy vehicle lanes on US 95, making the trip from the Centennial Hills area into downtown much faster than traditional bus service.
The Centennial Hills Transit Center and Park & Ride includes:
A supporting transit center facility with approximately 1,900 square feet was also completed with the construction. The facility accommodate areas for security, customer service, indoor/outdoor waiting areas, and public restrooms.
