The Transportation Improvement Program is a 4-year program that identifies transportation projects that are expected to receive federal funding.
The current TIP covers Fiscal Years (FY) 2009 through 2012 and was approved by the RTC Board of Commissioners on November 13, 2008. The Nevada Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) incorporating the TIP was approved by the United States Department of Transportation (US DOT) on March 3, 2009.
The projects identified in the current TIP are either taken from, or are consistent with, the Regional Transportation Plan for FY 2009-2030.
