How does Club Ride work?

Club Ride staff will work directly with the employer's benefits team and help provide everything necessary to get your employees' program started. Club Ride offers three easy ways for current participating worksites fo enroll their employees:

What tax advantages do employers see?

If your employees use employer-sponsored pass programs, transit, or vanpools to commute, your company will be eligible to take advantage of some great new tax benefits. Qualified Transportation Fringe Benefits 132(f) IRC permits employers to subsidize or to allow their employees to pre-tax up to $115 per month for transit or vanpool fares. Employers can save on payroll taxes and employees can save on income taxes.

EZ Rider Program

The RTC also has a transit pass program that provides unlimited transit rides on a monthly or yearly basis. These passes can be purchased in bulk at a discounted rate of five- to 15-percent. Your company must be Club Ride members to get the discounted rate and added tax savings.
